How to Make French Toast

Basic recipe for French toast with eggs and butter.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg for every 2 slices of bread
  • butter/margarine
  • 1/2 teaspoon (3 ml) vanilla extract (optional)
  • Bread (6 pieces), type of bread is up to your preference
  • Syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Milk 

Steps

STEP1 - Crack and beat the egg in a bowl.
STEP2 - Add milk, vanilla extract and beat them
STEP3 - Heat the pan on medium high heat, add butter.
STEP4 - Once the pan is heated sufficiently, turn the heat to medium-low
STEP5 - Dip both side of the bread to the egg mixture
STEP6 - Place each slice of bread to the pan
STEP7 - Cook the toast until golden on both sides. (Approximately 45 seconds per side.) 
STEP8 - Serve immediately with syrup.

Stir Fry Bitter Gourd Recipe

My home style stir fried bitter gourd with egg and tomato is delicious and healthy for everyone, have a try.



Ingredients:
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 medium onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 medium-sized tomatoes, diced
2oz water
1 bitter gourd (ampalaya)  sliced thinly

2 eggs, beaten
salt and pepper to taste

Procedures:
1. In a pan, heat oil and saute garlic, onion and tomatoes.
2. Add water and bring to boil.
3. Add bitter gourd, cover and simmer for 3 minutes.
4. Add beaten eggs
5. Season with salt.
6. Continue cooking until eggs are firm.
7. Remove from heat and serve hot!

Tips:
To lessen the bitter taste of bitter gourd :
1. Rub the sliced  been gourd with salt and leave for 10 minutes
2. Then squeeze the been gourd until the water comes out.
3. Wash the been gourd in running water to remove salt
